POSITIVES:
1. Simple design is very easy to clean and maintain! Just two pieces, remove basin for easy cleaning.

2. Very sanitary! All molded plastic with no cracks and crevices for liquids to get stuck. Just wipe it down!

3. Super sturdy, durable, and supportive for little ones.
4. Splashguard is high enough to work for boys, but well-contoured so it doesn't pinch or cause problems for little ones as they sit down on the potty.

5. Splashguard is part of the basin, so your child can't pull it off while they are sitting on the chair.

6. A good size for most children.

7. The basin is deep enough to prevent overflow.
8. Lightweight and easy to move from room to room.

9. No little pieces to break off or get lost.

10. Kids love the bright colors and little bear!

11. Non-slip edging around the bottom.

12. Great for a car potty: Keep for emergencies or instead of using a public restroom! Try lining the basin with a plastic bag that can be disposed after your child is done using it.
NEGATIVES:

1. The splashguard is not removable, so like any splashguard, it could hurt if your child sits on it. Some parents found that it got in the way, bothering their child's thighs.

2. The molded plastic is not soft and cushie on a child's bottom.

3. The removable basin can stick to a child's bottom when they stand up, or the child tries to take it out.

4.
Not ideal for a larger sized child: The potty is low for a very tall child and a little narrow for a very large child.

5. Even with the no-slip grip on the bottom, some parents found that this potty still slides around. Many added their own no-stick grips on the bottom or placed the potty chair on a towel.

6. This potty chair is more expensive than others (although many parents feel that it is worth it!).

Note:

All children should be supervised when sitting on any potty to ensure that they stay safe. Boys should be taught to 'tuck' their privates down into the potty to avoid a mess. Unfortunately, potty training can be a messy undertaking at times, so there are bound to be spills and accidents. It is helpful for parents to prepare themselves for this ahead of time so they can try to react calmly when it happens!
