Our Story
Linda and Sue joined together as psychologists and friends in 2005 to start Just For Parents, LLC. This project started after Linda and Sue had been talking regularly about their experiences as psychologists working with children. They found that many of the parents with whom they worked were frustrated and confused when they looked for parenting information. Parents were often desperate to identify a good parenting or child resource for a variety of common childhood issues. After seeing these parents struggle to find high quality, useful parenting information, Linda and Sue decided to establish this company to help parents more easily access the type of parenting information that was usually only available to psychologists and other child specialists. Linda and Sue believe that it is time for parents to have the same information that they have in their work as child psychologists. By having this information, Linda and Sue believe that parents will be able to be the best parents that they can be to their children. Just For Parents is dedicated to serving parents, and the children they love and care for.

Mission
The mission of our company is to help parents of children of all ages. However, since we are still a small company with limited resources, we have focused our work on initially serving parents of children from birth to age 5. This is often the most confusing and difficult time period for parents and their children, which is not surprising given the enormous amount of change and development that children go through within a short time period. Even though our initial focus will be on this age range, we anticipate reaching out to parents of older children as well, including latency aged children (6-11) and adolescent children (12-18). Please be patient with us as we try to build our company and resources so that we can reach our goal of becoming a primary parenting resource to all parents of children from 0-18. Thank you!
